All services must be paid in full before the dog(s) is released to the owner(s) or proper payment arrangements are agreed upon by both parties, the owner(s) and Gone Country Dogs, LLC.
Trials & Assessments: Deposits must be paid to hold the spot for trials/assessments. By paying the deposit for the (boarding/daycare) (trial/assessment), you are stating that “x” day works for you. The deposit is non-refundable or transferable. Missed (trials/assessments) can not be credited.
Daycare Memberships: If the Owner(s) choose to join, they are required to pay on the first Friday of every month. This will guarantee daycare days each week. You will never pay the peak time rates. Days are only credited forward for emergencies or severe weather-related events. Dog—and client-related illnesses will be forwarded case-dependent. For example, if you choose to bring your dog on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it is a 4-week month, there are 8 days of daycare to be paid. As long as we are open, we are holding your spot, and your dog is expected to be here. If things arise, such as but not limited to vacations, appointments, or sudden schedule changes, that day will not be credited forward.
Daycare Single Day Pass: Those who choose not to join the membership when coming for daycare will be charged the single day pass rate per day/per dog. Peak times may apply when applicable (please see peak time sheet).
***Daycare dogs must attend daycare a minimum of 2 times per month. Payment is due at the beginning of the month.*** If you choose to take a break from daycare upon returning, you will have to pre-pay for the first 3 months to ensure your attendance.*****
Late Fee: Daycare memberships are due the first Friday of the month, and boarding remainders are due the first day of boarding. If either are received past their due date, a late fee of $25 will be applied.
Retainers: For the Owner(s) to hold their spot for boarding, the Owner(s) will need to pay 25% of their booking, which will be non-refundable or transferable. The owner (s) will book any and all services with 24-hour notice of the start date. Any last-minute or under 24-hour notice (if the dog can be accommodated) will incur a $25 fee.
Cancellation Policy: If boarding was paid in full prior to the start date.
- A 75% refund is available if the Owner(s) cancels by 12:00pm one week before the stay begins. (12:00pm ET)
- If canceled later than 12:00pm one week before the stay begins, a 50% refund is available for the first seven canceled days of the service, and a 75% refund is available for any additional days.
- If boarding wasn’t paid in full prior to the start date. If the Owner(s) cancels before 12:00pm one week prior to the start date the Owner(s) isn’t required to pay any addtional fees. If the Owner(s) cancels after 12:00pm a week before the stay begins the Owner(s) is responsible to pay 50% of the first seven days of the stay, and no addtional fees for the remainder of the stay. The 50% must be paid in full prior to any future services.
Cancellations must be made 30 days before the start date of boarding to have your 25% retainer credited to a future boarding. These credits terminate one year from the boarding start date. We have only a few spots for boarding, as we hold a more intimate setting to ensure dogs get the attention they need. We believe a larger group of dogs this quality of care isn’t able to be met at the standard we hold. Thus, any cancelations so close to a boarding booking affect us greatly.
For walks, and drop-in visits: A full refund is available if the Owner(s) cancels by 12:00pm the day before the service. If the owner cancels after 12:00pm the day before the owner agrees to pay in full unless an emergency has occurred. Any outstanding payments must be made in full for future services to be obtained.
Walks/Drop-Ins For weekly walks and drop-in services, the Termination of Service policy is now 14 days’ notice in writing via text or email. To terminate services early, your weekly equivalent of two weeks is to be paid in full or a minimum of $250, whichever is greater. Must be paid to continue services in the future.
Daycare MembershipThe membership termination policy is now 30 days’ notice in writing via text or email. To terminate services early, your daycare membership equivalent must be paid in full or a minimum of $440 for the month, whichever is greater. It must also be paid to continue services in the future.
Peak Times: Peak times are any time we are in high demand. This will include holidays, long weekends, summer, spring break, etc. If Boarding was paid in full, a 50% refund is available if the Owner(s) cancels by 12:00 pm one week before the stay begins. (12:00pm ET). If canceled later than 12:00 pm one week before the stay begins, a 25% refund is available for the first seven canceled days of the stay. For holidays, there is a 50% retainer that is non-refundable/transferable to hold your spot. If Boarding wasn’t paid in full, Owner(s) agrees to pay 25% of the remaining amount for the first seven canceled days of the stay.
