The Gone Country Dogs Story

My family and I took a leap of faith when we bought our forever home. With our one acre property, we had everything we needed to house our then 3 dogs, 2 horses, 2 guinea pigs and a parrot. But we both worked at least an hour away. I thought there had to be a better way. Then I remembered I had wanted to give Rover.com a try the year before we moved. We decided to give it a shot and it was the best decision we ever made!

Working at home was great for a lot of reasons like being close by for the kids. But the very best part was that I was now working full-time on my business. My business! I absolutely love meeting new people and their dog(s) who become part of our family.

And then Gone Country Dogs, LLC was born. What makes us unique is we are a young active family. Everyone has a part in our business. That’s why you will hear a lot of “us” and “we”. The kids love to play, hang out and cuddle with the dogs that stay with us. My husband, Ryan, is my biggest supporter, he helps any way he can.

We pride ourselves in being a very relaxed family environment. This means we only take a few dogs in at a time so every dog gets the attention they deserve. From when we get up until we go to bed, we make it our priority to include your dog in everything we can.

Not only will we care for your dog as if they are a part of our family, but they will become a part of our family. We are confident that your dog will be excited to come stay and hang out with us! Many of our clients say their dog(s) gets excited when they mention us by name or when they pull into our neighborhood.
